Christian Heritage Early Childhood Development Center Provides each child with an understanding of himself in relationship to God and the world in which he lives.

Our School Goal...

is to give experiences that will help each child’s sense of personal worth, to help him/her develop satisfying relationships with his peers and authority figures, and to equip each child so that he/she may live a life that will please and glorify God.

Our Staff...

The Christian Heritage Preschool teachers and staff are chosen for their high moral standards, stability, and their desire to work with and nurture children. They are participating members in their churches, and are spiritually dedicated to teaching about God, His world and His son, Jesus.

In addition to meeting Christian and moral character standards, teachers also must meet and exceed the Texas Department of Human Services requirements. Each CHS staff member must receive a minimum of 15 hours per year of early childhood training. Additional training is strongly encouraged. Our Preschool Director holds an Associate Degree and meets all the qualifications as a director in the state of Texas. Please call us at 210-499-4675.

Grades K, 1, 2, 3, and 4

Christian Heritage offers elementary classes with a focus on a “keep it small philosophy” allowing for an individualized curriculum. Small class sizes and caring teachers help to form a positive attitude toward school and learning. We aim to build a good teacher-student relationship, with the intention that each child ultimately forms a positive attitude toward school and learning. Each class contains no more than 18 students, with teachers paying special attention to their students' progress and welfare.

5th and 6th Grade

Designated as our Intermediate School, this special year addresses the importance of a proper transition from elementary school to middle school. Class instruction and the core curriculum prepare students for new learning and advanced social skills.

7th and 8th Grades

Comprised of grades 7 and 8, our middle school program emphasizes character development and good citizenship in our students. This is a critical time in a young person’s life to become more familiar with their sense of self, personal abilities and God given talents.

9th - 12th Grades

High school is a special time at Christian Heritage. Values, morals, and strong bonds of friendship are developed that will last a lifetime. Our goal is to “Build Lives of Consequence” – lives that are prepared for the future both here and for eternity.

Christian Heritage Schools, partnering with San Antonio College, offers our students an opportunity to earn high school and college credits simultaneously. With advance placement exams, students who have excelled have the opportunity to earn college credits also.

A well equipped science lab coupled with a challenging curriculum ensures that students have the training and skills necessary to compete with their public counterparts.

Christian Heritage alumni have attended prestigious universities such as Oxford, Pepperdine, University of the Incarnate Word, Oklahoma, Lubbock and Abilene Christian Universities, Harvard, Texas A&M and University of Texas.
